Probably The Most Profitable Ad Concept in September 2024? 🍂

Reading time: 2 min 26 sec

Hello Ad Space!

We have an absolute elite episode for you today.

Packed with three different ad creatives, we see CRUSH!

Let’s get into it đŸ€

Javy Coffee

This is probably my favorite type of ad right now

The Non-Narrated Ads.

And Javy Coffee has nailed it with this one.

The reason why these are so great from a marketer’s point of view is because they keep viewers hooked.

Starting the ad with a question, benefit, statement, or comparison right at the beginning forces the viewer to keep watching.

As a result, people end up investing their time in watching the entire video, ultimately giving their hard-earned attention to the brand.

The more attention someone invests in watching a video, the more likely they are to click and learn more.

Another reason these types of ads are so effective is their simplicity and directness.

There’s probably no easier way to showcase your main selling points in an ad—at least not in today’s landscape.

Loop Earplugs

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you probably know the TikTok-Comment-Reply concept.

(
And if you haven’t, you have some serious catching up to do 😝)

This concept from Loop Earplugs is what we see as the next step beyond that.

Taking things one step further by answering multiple FAQs in the comment section.

One word

Wow.

Could there be any better way to disarm sales objections or resistance before a purchase?

I’m not sure.

All of the people in the common section are either on the fence about buying or are speaking for someone else currently on the fence.

Addressing these frequently asked questions in such a native format is something I think more brands should do.

At least that’s what we plan to do.

Pinklaura

Fashion brands can’t make UGC. It doesn’t work the same."

I most certainly disagree.

Fashion, accessories, and jewelry UGC can be a tough nut to crack for a lot of people.

In an earlier episode of Ad Space, I mentioned a more tactical approach to this.

And in this episode, I wanted to show you what that looks like.

(Great job Pinklaura, by the way.)

In fashion or similar industries, having a creator who is as authentic and as transparent as possible is the key to successful UGC creatives.

(At least that’s my opinion
)

That’s likely why so many brands opt for influencers instead of UGC creators in these niches.

Most UGC creators focus too much on a script, but these types of UGC videos work better without one.

On the other hand, influencers are better at talking to their audience, recommending or guiding their audience, more than selling.

But it is doable. To implement this type of UGC content, you’ll need:

  • A really stunning creator—the more attractive, the better.

  • Someone who speaks well on camera.

  • A few different ways for the creator to style his or her outfit.

If you nail those three elements, you can run almost any fashion ad as a whitelisted testimonial on Meta, and it will perform at least moderately well.

I think this example is very well executed for reference.

Takeaways from this week’s episode:

  • Non-narrated videos are highly effective, especially since they retain the viewer's attention so well. They’re also great for explaining your key sales arguments quickly.

  • Using the TikTok-Comment-Reply concept to answer multiple FAQs in the comment section is a more powerful strategy for converting multiple people on the fence, with the same objections.

  • If you want to create successful UGC ad creative in the fashion niche, you’ll need a creator who is authentic, pretty, and skilled on camera. Make the content feel more genuine and relatable to the audience.

That’s it! 👋

What a week. Such great ads.

All of these formats should be included in your ad creative mix.

I see the second one being a winner for a lot of brands moving forward.

Try to make it a habit to jot down your favorite ad concepts that we share, along with an action plan to implement them.

If you’re just consuming content for the sake of consuming, rather than implementing, you might as well be watching Netflix instead.

(Unless you're telling me this is better than Netflix? Thank you đŸ„°)

Seriously, implement this stuff. Most people won’t, and if you do, you’ll be lightyears ahead of everyone else.

To your success đŸ„‚
