🐳 UGC of the Week 28
Reading time: 2 min 31 sec

Hello Ad Space,
We are back this week again with more ads for you, and these are 🔥
Let's break them down together and distill why they are so good!

Briogeo
I’m not usually a fan of these more traditional 2022 types of UGC ads.
(I guess you can call them that.)
Normally, I would just scroll past this post and think, “Yeah, another ad,” and keep going with my day.
But even though this ad is easier for the viewer to detect as an ad, it just ticks the right boxes, making it a successful UGC ad:
Visually pleasing
Good editing
Fast at getting to the features/benefits
Problem-solution oriented
Great hook with fast pacing (3 shots in 2 seconds)
Powerful Before/After results
Between 20-30 seconds
Native fonts to blend in with the normal feed
If even one of these parameters were not honed to perfection, this would flop.)
Nevertheless, it is still running and bringing in cash. So good job Briogeo!

Penny Pairs
Penny Pairs made this one ad very short and straight to the point.
All we have is a content creator talking a bit about the jewelry using a green screen, and it's super simple.
Anyone can use a green screen and talk briefly about some of their favorite earrings.
I love the fact that she has their Instagram page open with the product on it, and then shows those exact products to the camera.
Ads are becoming shorter and shorter alongside our attention spans.
Keep them short and precise, just like this one.
You don’t need fancy UGC edited stuff like we did in 2021-2022.
People are catching on to the fact that UGC is not actually user-generated content. So make them native and simple!

Atoms
What a super cool and creative try-on haul from Atoms.
It's fast-paced, engaging, and fun to watch.
The great thing is, nothing is stopping you from making such an ad yourself.
I also think the creator here is a really good choice.
She seems super happy to be there, and it doesn't feel like she is selling anything at all.
They kept the voiceover out, which is something we see working really well.
With ads that already have a lot going on, a voiceover can ruin it since it can become too many things at once.
This ad is awesome though!

Takeaways from this week’s episode:
The old-school UGC ad creatives can still work if you nail all of the fundamentals.
Try using screen recordings and have your creators do overlays on the content itself.
Not every ad requires speaking.
That’s it! 👋
That was all for this week.
Hope you learned something new this time around, or at least we reminded you of something you had forgotten.
Constant repetition is important in the Ad Creative space.
We’ll be back next Monday with some more ads.
See you soon!
