Hello, Ad Space!
We have a late, Friday episode this week, and I think you’re going to love these three ads we have today.
So let's just get started

Birddogs
I love this one...
If you have a product that's very similar to what bigger names are selling—like Lululemon—don't be afraid to mention their names.
Biddrogs is quite a bit smaller than Lululemon, but they do a great job of pinpointing the problems people have with Lululemon and positioning themselves as the better alternative.
Very nice angle.
As the ad progresses, they twist the knife a bit more on the core problem in an informative and humorous way.
They then shift to talking about their own products, explaining the features and benefits in more detail.
What’s funniest about this ad, is how simple it is. Just a classic PAS ad:
Pain
Agitate
Solution
But the execution is very well done, striking the perfect balance between being natural and not too gimmicky—exactly what we want.
It's clean but also has a bit of a goofy element to it.
By the way, those pants look quite nice!

Dose
“If you want a healthier liver, let me educate you on how to do it.”
Now that’s solid copywriting.
I think sounding like you genuinely want to help people in a hook is very underrated.
Don’t get me wrong, I love all the hooks that focus on the creator, like “I tried this,” “I used to,” “How I got,” and so on.
However, for a video about something more serious, such as liver health, I can see the “if you want X, Y, Z” approach working well here.
The ad is visually pleasing, and informative, and the juice looks really good. It also includes some useful facts.
There are just two things I don’t like about this ad: the non-native font and the lack of evidence.
Some actual statistics on the screen to further enhance her point would be great.
Also, I’m not a fan of the font they used—let’s leave it at that.
There’s a time and place for more branded ads, no doubt about that. Just not in this one.

Licorice
This is an ad from Licorice.
Let’s do a quick breakdown so you can understand why it’s so effective.
First off, it uses multiple creators—more specifically, multiple creators’ testimonials.
We see a variety of different creators, and they all look distinct, which makes this ad appeal to a wide range of audiences. It also provides more social proof this way.
The hook of this ad is something we use ourselves when working with a brand that offers a product that can fit between your fingers.
Showing the product very up close to the camera really brings out the details and automatically makes the viewer more intrigued since it’s closer to their eyes.
Pro Tip: If you do a mashup, make sure that each creator is highlighting different pain points or benefits of your product.
It’s okay if maybe 2 people say “I love this” or something similar, but in general, try to pick out the best lines from each creator.
Honestly, this candy looks absolutely amazing. I kind of want to buy them myself—I can’t lie!

Takeaways from this week’s episode:
A successful ad doesn't always require complexity; it can be a simple, well-executed classic framework like PAS (Pain, Agitate, Solution).
Genuinely offering help or education to the audience can be particularly powerful when dealing with serious topics, as it builds trust and engagement.
If you do a mashup, make sure that each creator is highlighting different pain points or benefits of your product.
That’s it! 👋
That’s all for this week’s Ad Space.
A little Friday’s episode to end this week off.
We’ll be back on Monday.
